I want to hold my baby while she’s still a baby
I want to feel her little fingers wrapped around my hand
I want to hear her feet as she runs around the house
I want to listen as she talks to her brother in a soft & gentle voice
She’s growing so quickly, becoming a beautiful little girl
I pray that she never questions how much her dad & I love her & how much we treasure each moment with her
I pray that she always seeks to see the best in everyone
I pray that she continues to be a bright light in a dark world
I pray that she loves as fiercely as she laughs
I wish I could bottle up her giggles, one of my favorite sounds
I love listening to her imagination as she plays on her own
I love her big cheesy grin
I love the way she runs to the door when dad gets home
I love the way her face lights up when she sees her grandparents & great grandparents
She is so pure & filled with so much love & light
I never want to forget the way her arms feel when they are wrapped around my neck in a big Quincy Bear hug
I never want to forget how peaceful she looks as she’s sleeping, dreaming of her future
I never want her to lose that child-like innocence
I never want a day to go by without her hearing how much she is loved, cherished & treasured
She made me a mom & I will never be able to thank her enough for that
I hope as she grows she carries her family with her always
I hope she is always kind to others and looks out for those who don’t have a voice
I hope she always knows that she is a daughter of the one true King
I hope that when she grows up she will always come back home
I want to always be her safe place, her home
Slow down time, please
